Introduction

I'm a computer scientist. Because of this, people often ask me question like "which harddrive should I buy?" or "what's better, Intel or AMD?". I tried to answer these questions in the preferred Hardware list. This list is based on my own experience. It doesn't demand for completeness.
The blacklist is based on own, bad experiences. I personally would never buy again at these (Swiss) shops or buy again these products.

Technical documentation

A list of technical documents written by me. These are intended for technical experienced IT people. Average PC users probably won't understand at all what's written here.
